As a species, "humans" have a great deal of variations for abilities, do they not? Witnessing only Luceti, the range is quite... fascinating. Do you imagine these differences come with changes to their DNA structure, or learned abilities which don't matter terribly much to their genetic code? [Inhale] Thus far, the evidence I've collected [the samples he examined of Adele's] seems to point to the former. Though my sampling pool has been... limited. Thus far.

Perhaps I am simply seeking kindred spirits. Are any of you from a reality where space travel is a realized and daily face of your existence?

Nah nah, you got it all wrong. It's totally all learned, or passed on through glowy humanoid whatchamajiggers. You just throw around one of those super long incantation things, spin around, throw your weapon in the air like you just don't care and BAM! Swirling vortex of water splashing around like crazy.

Not common for Earth. But we've got a working interstellar ship I made from an alien ship. She's a beauty too. And I know the League's got some ships like that too. We've got an alien on the team, so we head out into space sometimes.

I was not aware that humanity knew of other interstellar species. I had been lead to believer otherwise.

My own experiences with a human in my home reality told me that as compared to many species with which I am more familiar, their senses and abilities are decidedly inferior at a biological level. However... one simply needs to sit in the viewing area of the Dome to see humans whose physical capabilities would likely surpass a Scarran's. [Inhale] And to my knowledge, that should be impossible.

Space travel is fairly uncommon where I come from, though certain genius scientists have been known to have their own space fleets!

Entire fleets, in a system where it is uncommon. To what end?

Humans on my world have some space travel. But only the government and military uses it. Or civilians willing to put up the money.

[Which isn't cheap either.]

They don't go very far though. Only as far as the moon, and that was years ago.

Where I'm from, it's usually the latter. Anyone can pick up magic, or if they really wanted to, they could open their hearts to darkness and find power that way.

But it's not something I'd recommend.

As for space travel, yeah, it's possible. My best friend traveled to other worlds on a ship made of colored blocks.

Scorpius is using a blowtorch to fix some of the metal connections of pipes and such on what looks looks like some machine gun looking things outside the edges of the den's entrance. Not that he can, well, get them to power up well here. Insufficient parts.

[Luke is intrigued, extremely so, as he recalls this man from the meeting some weeks prior. He'd figured him for another species of sentient but didn't feel it was appropriate at the time to ask]

I am from such a reality, yes. Its a rare week that doesn't have me traveling between worlds at home. And from a world where humans are not necessarily the dominant species in terms of number as well. There are hundreds of sentient beings in my galaxy. I take it you are from a similar reality, sir?

Oh, and I don't believe we've met, unfortunately, though I have seen you around. I am Luke Skywalker. Its nice to speak to another space-farer.

Scorpius. And yes, Mr. Skywalker, I am. [A beat] Though, I wouldn't even consider humans to be anywhere approaching, ah, "dominant" - for the most part, the humans I am familiar with have not even mastered travel out of the system their homeworld rests in and that system is very fare indeed from the segment of the galaxy with which I am most familiar. In fact, even with out most powerful engines, it would still take over sixty cycles to travel to the human homeworld.
