[Action A: Night of the 19th]

[He is back from his mission now.

Scorpius is lugging a bunch of materials from all over town which he's hidden in various locations (such as the New Feather Station aa and others) to a new location. He's finally found a place he would put his stuff in. One that is reasonably hidden. Now that he's amassed enough technology a more complete lab is necessary. Bits of technology include an incomplete pulse generator (albeit his is much smaller), his immobilizer gun (which resembles a tacklebox with a nozzle), some incomplete robots, numerous tools, some other scraps he has yet to use, and other stuff. A silver briefcase. He is moving them to an unused Lion's Den he found here. While he does not recognize it for being a Lion's Den, if he did he would find it ironic. The den is a partially underground cave-like thing which was made for an old liony resident. He might need to shovel out some more, but as it stands it's pretty workable.

Catch him en route or whatever if you happen to be out that night.]

[Action B: Afternoon of the 20th]

[Scorpius has three major places to go to today. The first is, as always, the Item Shop to look for new technology to splice with the Peacekeeper Tech, new cooling rods, extension cables, transformers if possible and a shovel. Possibly some new tools as well. Second is the Smithy, where he's going to want to speak with someone who has authority there about getting some extra metal. Finally, he's going to stop instead of at the Tea Shop he will go to House 44, where he will politely knock on the door. Pleasant all around other than HOW DAMN HOT IT IS out because of the Heat Wave which has been in effect all weekend. It makes it very uncomfortable for him.

Catch him at or between any of these locations.]

[Action C: Night of the 20th]

[...whiiiich is way he's ransacking one of the empty houses relatively near his place this night. He got a cart from the Item Shop and he is going in to House 58 and pulling out what he sees of value in there. A refrigerator, many wires out of appliances he doesn't need in full, parts of the air conditioning system, maybe an arm chair. He assumes the shifts, when it sees the house empty will replenish them anyway soon enough. Even if they don't, it'll be a decent test. Once these items are loaded on to his cart he will be taking them back to his Den which he'll also be shoveling out a bit more that night to fit them all. He might be loud enough to attract attention (plus, you know, the sheer oddness this might present to other people) so feel free to react there as well

It's a busy day, all said. Which is why when he settles down for a late meal (going back to town to eat something from the grocery and chewing it on a bench) at like 10ish PM:]

[Voice]

Do any of you know things about. Wormholes?

[Yes, pleasure]

All right--fine. Let's make a deal. [Because he's not having his scheme ruined by this creep.]

I'll leave your cave alone if you leave mine alone. Got it?

A standoff is face to face combat, not raiding another's base.

...you have your reasons, and I have mine.

I know that. Combat tactics aren't my specialty, but I know that much...

it was a joke, by the way.

[He shakes regardless, because his plan is really too sensitive to be screwed up at this point. It's too important.]
redjacketthief: (what are you going to do about it?)

[Lupin was only responding to the unspoken threat he percieved in Scorpius. The stranger was polite and calm enough, but something felt distinctly off. He couldn't place what.

He's grateful to end their handshake, though doesn't show his eagerness to withdraw openly. There was a game here, and a dangerous one. He needed to save face.]

I make jokes all the time. It's a human thing, and there's a lot of us around here--it might be smart to get used to it.

Yeah...that might be a good thing. I'm not the only wiley goofball around here.

So things are cool then?
