[Action A: Night of the 19th]
[He is back from his mission now.
Scorpius is lugging a bunch of materials from all over town which he's hidden in various locations (such as the New Feather Station aa and others) to a new location. He's finally found a place he would put his stuff in. One that is reasonably hidden. Now that he's amassed enough technology a more complete lab is necessary. Bits of technology include an incomplete pulse generator (albeit his is much smaller), his immobilizer gun (which resembles a tacklebox with a nozzle), some incomplete robots, numerous tools, some other scraps he has yet to use, and other stuff. A silver briefcase. He is moving them to an unused Lion's Den he found here. While he does not recognize it for being a Lion's Den, if he did he would find it ironic. The den is a partially underground cave-like thing which was made for an old liony resident. He might need to shovel out some more, but as it stands it's pretty workable.
Catch him en route or whatever if you happen to be out that night.]
[Action B: Afternoon of the 20th]
[Scorpius has three major places to go to today. The first is, as always, the Item Shop to look for new technology to splice with the Peacekeeper Tech, new cooling rods, extension cables, transformers if possible and a shovel. Possibly some new tools as well. Second is the Smithy, where he's going to want to speak with someone who has authority there about getting some extra metal. Finally, he's going to stop instead of at the Tea Shop he will go to House 44, where he will politely knock on the door. Pleasant all around other than HOW DAMN HOT IT IS out because of the Heat Wave which has been in effect all weekend. It makes it very uncomfortable for him.
Catch him at or between any of these locations.]
[Action C: Night of the 20th]
[...whiiiich is way he's ransacking one of the empty houses relatively near his place this night. He got a cart from the Item Shop and he is going in to House 58 and pulling out what he sees of value in there. A refrigerator, many wires out of appliances he doesn't need in full, parts of the air conditioning system, maybe an arm chair. He assumes the shifts, when it sees the house empty will replenish them anyway soon enough. Even if they don't, it'll be a decent test. Once these items are loaded on to his cart he will be taking them back to his Den which he'll also be shoveling out a bit more that night to fit them all. He might be loud enough to attract attention (plus, you know, the sheer oddness this might present to other people) so feel free to react there as well
It's a busy day, all said. Which is why when he settles down for a late meal (going back to town to eat something from the grocery and chewing it on a bench) at like 10ish PM:]

Do any of you know things about. Wormholes?
[Yes, pleasure]

[action]
[And he's just being difficult now]
[action]
[action]
[Blase. It's just a simple observation, really. And because it is just that and not a threat, he tilts his head, looking down on her. And then his look turns into a smile once more]
I did, however, come for another reason. A man who lives with you once insisted I ought to try some tea. I've come to see if he was in, or, perhaps, if you could give me some of what was described to me. Sweet tea from the "Southern United States," I believe?
[action]
...it wasn't a threat outright. And that makes it worse.]
Helios is out and about at the moment. But we may have a pitcher of that tea in the kitchen. I do not suppose I could have you wait out here while I fetch a glass.
[action]
[Lightly. But hey, if she insists, he can just stay out here]
[action]
[And if she bolts and hooks every latch after she closes the door. Well. It's for her own peace of mind.]
[action]
[action]
She needs to talk less while on painkillers.
It doesn't take her long to find a glass she won't mind never getting back and pouting Scorpius a serving of the sweet tea. Unlocking the door takes a bit longer, as she's doing it one handed, but it's opened again and the glass is offered.]
Here.
[action]
[With a similarly blase sort of tone. It's not really inviting but hey is he ever]
[action]
[She won't close the door on him, though. She'll stay, half in, half out of the house. Just in case.]
[action]
[Well then, he's just going to sit here and sniff the tea once - taking in the aroma - before licking up a bit with his tongue and then going to sip properly.
Still too damn hot out.]
[action]
She'll stand, leaning against the door frame, eyes sliding from him to the surrounding trees.]
[action]
A-Adele? Is, um, is everything alright?
[ Nothing like a jittery question to make the situation more awkward. ]
[action]
[Doing another small sip. Though now he actually sets down his tea to get something off his belt. A small battery powered fan, which he is going to blow at his face. He found one at the item shop and the novelty did not escape him.]
[action]
This is not a man we want in our home. He wished for a glass of tea, I gave it. When he's done, he'll leave.
[This is all spoken with a distinct undertone of 'he is not coming into this house ever.' unquestionably present.]
[action]
[ Oh dear. ] H-He hasn't done anything, has he?
[action]
[action]
Not. Yet. Mind yourself around him.
[action]
Ah. R-Right, yes, of course. W-We can't just...leave him out there. [ Helios has a heart of gold. It's a bad trait in such a place but he can't help but feel...guilty for not allowing the man to at least enjoy his drink inside. But with the way it makes Adele nervous he's not sure if his guilt and awkwardness should really be acted upon. ]
[action]
[action]
[Hospitality is well and good, but not now. Handing over the glass of tea was more than she wanted to do. Everything about this situation made her twitch- Scorpius at her home, in her home? No. Not happening.]
[action]
[ Helios is a bit more anxious and on edge now so 'resting' will have to wait. Even if he's not entirely sure what about the man has put Adele on edge, but her own energy and refusal to allow him in is...alarming to say the least. ]
